Network Status

Most of the sources we have referenced in this project, in their conclusion, state that telesurgery is in its early stages and has much development to go.  Taylor (2006) also notes that while telesurgery is an interdisciplinary problem, it is not yet being approached this way as much as it should (p. 1661).  This suggests that the actors in this actor-network have not yet accepted their roles.  The network is therefore in an interessement stage, where all of the actors share a common concern and an OPP has been chosen, but the actors have not yet accepted their roles.
